the site. We are available to help you with personal questions about
online relationships, emailing other members, and have testimonials

Why must I submit a photo?
Submitting a photo enhances your profile.
Most members prefer to “see” the member they are writing
to. For this reason, we are requesting that all members submit a
photo within one month of joining. Please submit a recent photo
in .gif or .jpg format by clicking on “Submit a Photo”
in the “Members” section of the homepage. We prefer that
you save your image with the following dimensions: 170 pixels in
width by 200 pixels in height. If you cannot save your photo with
these dimensions, we will re-size it for you.

What if I want to cancel or
hide my profile?
To change your membership status,
got to the “Members” page and click on the “Change
my membership status” link. This allows you to either hide
or cancel your membership once the changes are saved.
If you do decide to cancel for whatever
reason, please let us know what you liked and disliked about the
site so that we can make it an even better site.
How do I change my membership
information/profile?
Go to the “Members” page
and click on the “Change My Profile” link, and you will
be able to edit your profile. Remember to click on the “Save
changes to my profile” button when finished. To change your
contact information, click on the “Change Contact Information”
button on the “Members” page. Press the “submit”
button to save the changes.*
*It is necessary to enter a valid
email address in your profile so that you can be notified if
you forget your user ID or password, for administrative purposes
and to be able to use ANA- the Automated Notification Assistant.
What is ANA?
ANA stands for “Automatic Notification
Assistant”. This program allows you to enter the criteria
you are looking for in a member and sends a message to your personal
email address when a match is found. To access ANA go to the
“Membership” page and click on the ANA link.
Is my email information anonymous?
Your personal email address is confidential.
No one but the administrators of the site have access to this
information. There is a built-in email program on the site that
is totally separate from the regular email system allowing you
to contact and receive messages from other members without ever
having to give out your home email address.
What is the difference between
the “Search” feature and the “Advanced Search”?
The basic search feature allows you
to browse profiles that match your preferences such as age, location
etc. The advanced search feature allows you to search for someone
specific using their member ID or use additional search parameters
to narrow down your search and find that special someone.
What does "remember my
password" mean?
There is a box you can check on the
‘Sign-In” page which keeps your user ID and password
in a small file called a “cookie”. If the box is selected,
you will not have to re-enter your information when you return
to the site unless you have signed out. With the “remember
my sign-in info” box checked, you do not need to sign out.*
*If you are concerned about another
person in your household being able to access the information
in your profile, it is advised that you do not check the “remember
my sign-in info” box and type in your user name and password
each time you visit aJewishDatingSite.com.
What if I forget my username or password?
You can click on the link on the
Sign-In page and your username and password will be sent to your
personal email address automatically. If you still have problems
logging on, remember that your username and password are case-sensitive
and must be entered exactly as given when you first created your
profile.
